This site is a tribute to George Abbott, who sadly passed away on 9th November after a short illness. George will be deeply missed by his wife Sylvia, children Lisa, Claire and Nick, his grandchildren Demi, Chumia, Charlie, Sienna, Orson and Oscar, and his great-granddaughter Olive.

George lived and worked in Ipswich his whole life and was a dedicated Ipswich Town fan. Watching football was a hobby that he enjoyed throughout his life, one of his favourite stories to share was about him being at Wembley when Ipswich won the cup in 1978.
